Projects
Designware projects are collections of pages that make up a cohesive interface for your audience. Any project can be published as a website, app, or both.
About projects in Designware:
You can have as many projects you like.
All projects are free forever, including website publishing and hosting. You only need a project subscription plan to invite contributors and/or to publish apps.
Projects can have unlimited pages.
Projects can have multiple contributors depending on its subscription plan.
Projects are use-case, OS, device, and screen size agnostic. You can publish them anywhere and for anything—be it a website, app, kiosk, signage display, or whatever you dream up.
Starting a Project
In the Main Dashboard, select New under Start a New Project, and name it.
The project will open in the Editor, beginning with a blank home page. If you're new to Designware, check out our First Project Walkthrough.
Renaming a Project
Go to the Main Dashboard, hover over the project card, and select More Options › Rename. Insert a new name and Confirm.
Deleting a Project
To delete a project, go to the Main Dashboard, hover over the project card, select More Options › Delete, and Confirm in the confirmation prompt.
Deleting a project is a permanent action, and cannot be undone.
The project card will be removed from your Main Dashboard, and the same for any contributors.
The project's preview links will be deactivated.
A published website will be deactivated.
Published web apps and native apps can run offline by nature, and will continue to function independently on devices they've been installed on—but will be unable to receive content updates from Designware. Third-party services or data feeds added through code injections will operate directly between the installed app and the respective third-party service (outside the Designware network), and may remain functional.
If the deleted project has an active subscription plan, it will automatically terminate at the completion of the current billing cycle.
