The Text Settings

  • Type Style—all text in a paragraph references a type style like "Main Title" or "Body". Inline text can be further modified using the settings below, and these modifications can be reverted by reselecting the type style. You can edit type styles from project settings.

  • Text Colour—the colour of the text.

  • Font—the font family, which can be chosen from over 1,000 royalty-free and web-friendly Google Fonts, or set as "System UI", which will apply the default font of the user's operating system (i.e. 'SF Pro' on Mac and 'Segoe UI' on Windows).

  • Font Style—the weight (boldness) or italic variations of a font. This setting will be deactivated if the current font does not have any font styles.

  • Bold, Italic, Strikethrough, Underline—toggles for text decoration.

    • EM—ephemeral unit, a multiple of 16px.

  • Upper Size—if applied, this text size is used at or above the highest breakpoint, while the regular Size is used at or below the smallest breakpoint. Text size is proportionally scaled in-between.

  • Line Height—the distance between lines of text using a positive or negative value, with the metric options X (multiple of text size), PX, %, or EM.

  • Letter Spacing—the distance between characters using a positive or negative value, with the metric options PX, %, or EM.

  • Alignment—aligns the current paragraph to the Left, Centre, Right, or as Justified, and vertically aligns all text to the block's Top, Middle, or Bottom.

  • Baseline—converts to a subscript or superscript.

  • Highlight—the background colour behind a line of text.

  • Icon—places an inline icon, to be chosen from thousands of options in popular royalty-free libraries.

  • Link—applies an inline link to selected text. Link styling (including for hover and press) is set by the type style.
